Directions Brown ground beef, shallot or onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. To make in a slow cooker, brown the beef and onions before adding all of the ingredients to the insert.   4. Add the rest of the demi glace. Stir in the Orecchiette. Add the chopped eggs. Stir well!!

Before you add any liquid to your chili, make sure your vegetables (onions, bell peppers, garlic, etc.) are softened and the meat (ground beef, turkey, short ribs, etc.) is well seasoned and browned on the outside. The meat and vegetables will continue cooking once you add the liquid and let the chili simmer. I grew up in Indiana and moved to kentucky last year and my momma always put brown sugar in her chili and served it with a peanut butter sandwich and it was soooooo gooooood!
