Stir in the garlic, bay leaf, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, onion, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery. Add the beef, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a slow simmer.

- Coat beef with flour. heat oil in large deep skillet or Dutch oven on medium heat. Add beef; cook until browned on all side.
- Bring to boil; cover. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables; simmer 45 minute or until beef and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Thicke stew with additional flour, if desired.

Add the beef, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a slow simmer. Add beef back to dutch oven then add broth, wine, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Add beef, a few pieces at a time, and toss to coat.
